What’s the most terrifying thing you’ve ever done?
For me it was packing up all my belongings, saying goodbye to my family, my friends, and my dog and moving to a new city without having a job or any sort of direction planned for my life.
That was two years ago.
Time certainly flies.

I’ve lived in Vancouver, BC for almost two years now, and I’m almost ashamed to say that I haven’t ventured further than the lower mainland in and around Vancouver. So last weekend, when I took an evening drive out on the Sea to Sky highway to Porteau Cove Provincial Park, I realized just how much of Beautiful British Columbia I was missing out on.

I’m a huge fan of minimalist packing so I can be fairly meticulous when it comes to what items I travel with. I like to conserve space and limit my carry-on baggage (because let’s be honest, no one likes hauling a heavy bag on and off the plane) by selecting items that are practical, versatile, and necessary.
